Courses
Certified Indoor Air Quality
Are you a facility manager, building engineer, or health and safety officer who wants to improve the indoor air quality of your building? Are you properly prepared to handle air quality complaints? Common mistakes can turn a small grievance into a wildfire of speculation and accusation. In this Certified Indoor Air Quality Manager Online Training and Certification course, you’ll learn how to diagnose, resolve, and prevent indoor air quality (IAQ) complaints. You’ll also establish a comprehensive IAQ plan specific to your buildings.
Fiber Installer Technician Program
This four-day training includes one day of classroom learning and three days of hands-on lab exercises focused on specific fiber optic outside plant disciplines. Developed as the “next level” of training, this provides more advanced knowledge and skills to students that have already had formal introductory classes or several years of experience working with fiber optics.
Program funded in full through a grant from the Vermont Department of Labor.
HVAC/R Technician
This course will prepare you for an entry-level career in the HVAC/R industry by providing hands-on guidance for service, repair, and solutions.
HVAC/R Simulations
As HVAC/R systems become increasingly complex, learning and mastering the latest technology is critical. HVAC/R Simulations for Field Technicians offers a rich, hands-on learning experience that mimics field performance in a completely online environment. You will practice servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting common HVAC/R scenarios in true-to-life service call simulations.

BPI Training and Certification
Vermont Tech is a Building Performance Institute (BPI) training and certification testing center. With Vermont Tech’s BPI trainings, you can earn CEUs and keep on top of emerging issues, technologies, and best practices.
BPI is a national standards development organization for residential energy efficiency and weatherization retrofit work. Many federal, state, and utility initiatives require BPI certifications for contractor participation in energy efficiency projects. Check out the BPI website for more information.
