You’ll learn about manufacturing processes by exploring the basics of production, including:
- Types of machining
- Manufacturing planning
- Production control
- Product distribution
- Product life cycle from conception through distribution
Upon completion, you’ll have the opportunity to earn Manufacturing Processes and Production Certification, and Maintenance Awareness Certification through the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC).
About flex online classes
Flex courses are online courses with flexible assignment submission, allowing students to manage their completion pace during the semester.
Prerequisite
To enroll in this training, you must first complete MEC 1310 Principles of Manufacturing or have at least one year of manufacturing experience.
