Vermont’s Forests and Plants (Williston & Randolph Center Campuses)

Explore Vermont Forests and Plants with Vermont botanists Molly Willard and Art Gilman (author of the New Flora of Vermont). Over the course of five Fridays, you’ll learn about:

• Forests, pastures and fields, natural communities, wetlands, and the plants surrounding you every day.
• Identifying trees, grasses, ferns and other vascular plants.
• Why certain assemblages of plants grow together in a given area.

You’ll spend some mornings in the classroom studying botanical sciences, prior to to going into the field.
